Abstract

Multiparticulate drug delivery systems are especially useful for controlled or delayed release oral formulations to obtain different release patterns. Consequently, multiparticulate drug delivery systems provide tremendous opportunities for designing new controlled and delayed release oral formulations. Recently pulsatile delivery and multiparticulate dosage forms are gaining much favor over single-unit dosage forms in pharmaceutical appl ications.
